The Guadalupe Radio Network (GRN) Southeast Market’s third annual “Fishers of Men” dinner will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Rosewood Ballroom in Homewood. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation will begin at 7 p.m.
This year, the Fishers of Men Award will go to Jim and Joy Pinto, directors of Her Choice Birmingham Women's Center, to honor them for their tireless work in Catholic evangelization, the pro-life movement, through media, and most especially support for GRN!
The guest speaker for the evening will be Damon Owens, executive director of the Theology of the Body Institute, whose mission is to educate and train men and women to understand, live, and promote the Theology of the Body. He is the founder of Joy-Filled Marriage NJ and New Jersey Natural Family Planning Association, non-profit organizations dedicated to building a marriage culture through training, seminars, and conferences.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at www.grnonline.com.
