Since the seed of Christianity had originally been planted 500 years ago on the shores of the Philippines, the growth and blossoming of abounding fruit has materialized in producing flourishing cathedrals, basilicas, parishes, missionaries, universities, apparitions, religious orders, and countless saints and martyrs. It’s clear the Christian faith has spread and taken deep root within the Philippine community and continues to grow to this day.
To honor this momentous occasion, on March 13 the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hancevile will be hosting a day of celebration with a Tagalog Rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Filipino Mass and Eucharistic Procession. Food will be available after the Eucharistic Procession, cash only. All proceeds will benefit the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration, the Shrine, and the MFVA Friars.
