The Diocesan Catechetical office is a collaborative community of faith commissioned to serve the mission of the Diocese and authorized by the Bishop to give direction and support to the Catechetical ministry. The office assists all Catholic people, youth and children to develop a conscious, living active faith through the light of instruction.

The Diocese of Birmingham has partnered with the Catholic University of Dayton to provide an e-learning initiative which supports adult faith, catechist and lay ecclesial leadership formation in the Church.
